Palmer Family Daycare

I am currently in the process of obtaining a California License for an in home daycare. I have a 6 month old son, and have decided to leave the corporate world and accounting career to be able to spend more time with him and help develop and care for other children the same way he was cared for upon returning to my corporate job after maternity leave. I have found joy in visiting his daycare facility, meeting the children, and experiencing the laughs and smiles of such precious little kids. I am the oldest of 4 children and have played a role in raising both my younger siblings and multiple children in our extended family. During the process of getting my License, I am looking to care for the children of one family in addition to my son. My focus will be healthy balance between playtime (both indoors and outdoors) and learning basics based on age range. I will provide healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks for any child that is no longer on formula, breast-milk, or bottle fed, and I will also be able to transport children to/from school or after school activities. I am looking for not only a good fit for myself, but also for my son and for both families (yours and mine.)

I live in a 5 bedroom single family home with downstairs being the designated area for children. My home is clean and tidy and provides a safe environment within a gated community. The backyard area is completely fenced in and is made up of both a concreted area and an artificial turf area for safe play.
