A little about Painted Bear Preschool & Daycare: We have been in business since 2006, started out as a stay at home mom looking for a few playmates for my daughter and I just fell in love with caring for little ones. We had a lot of fun playing, reading books and learning preschool basics and decided to become a state registered provider. Over the last 9 years I have taken many continued education classes, along with my current Associates Degree from MHCC in an effort to better our learning environment. In 2013 after a long run with childcare my two children both entered the school system and I decided to take a break from childcare. We did a little home remodeling and now have a place just for kids to come and enjoy.Today we are ready and excited to start again and make lasting memories for your little ones!

Warm, loving, creative, positive, clean, and safe, with lots of fun and activities! We are working towards becoming state registered. Currently we have our infant, toddler and adult CPR certification, First Aid certification ,our Food Handler's card and have been Registered with the State, we have been cleared through the Criminal History Database, and have passed an in-home health and fire safety inspection. Participated in the Children's Nutrition Program as well as Continued Educational courses over the last 9 years and will continue along this path.

We are also a place that offers peace of mind to parents, knowing your child is in caring, competent, and trustworthy hands. We currently have openings for: All Ages, care Mon-Fri, occasional weekends - Openings for children who need before school and after school care (must attend Mill Park Elementary / Portland Christian). * Preschool 2-3 days a week.
