My name is Kirsten and I am a stay at home mom of 2 children. I am currently in the process of opening an In-Home Childcare that will be state licensed.
Since this will be your child's home away from home I will provide a safe homelike atmosphere for your child while at the same time providing for their needs. Your child will be taught by example here, to have respect for themselves and each other. I will strive to offer praise for good behavior. Your Childs safety is number 1 priority in my home. I will be within sight or hearing of your child at all times.
I will offer Quiet time/nap time daily and also provide healthy meals and snacks that are age appropriate throughout the day. Your child will have plenty of Physical activities (outdoor and Indoor play) and although I am not a licensed pre-school I will have many activity centers available help your child learn in many different forms. Knowledge is power.
If you do register with me, you as a parent have the right to stop in at anytime during your child's regular daycare hours. You do not need a reason, you may pop in at anytime. We are a Drug-free, Smoke-free home and smoking will not be allowed on my premises during daycare hours. We do have two full size Kid-Friendly and Adult friendly dogs, they will bark to notify someone is arriving but they are not aggressive and love to play and hang out with the children.
I have been in Child care on and off throughout my life starting since my own Childhood. I have been a live-in-nanny and have had very demanding hours for other parents due to their demanding jobs. I have references if you are interested. I would love to meet your family and walk you through our home and would love for you to meet my family as well.
