About
"Proud 2 Be" offers two programs:
1. The Learning Center, which offers the Creative Curriculum for kids 2-13
2. The P2B Mentoring Program for at-risk youth 13-17 located in Carson.
The Mentoring Program has been in operation since 1999 and The Learning Center opened this year. With our licensed childcare staff we also have volunteer staff specializing in Math/Science and Spanish for early childhood development.
Our Healthy Choices meal schedule - Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and Dinner
Activities include, outdoor play, sand/water, trampoline, pool, team sports, arts and craft, painting, drawing, music, building blocks, dance and dramatic play.
We provide a daily schedule with routine for easy adjustment, photos to parents for comfort and weekly parent/staff meetings to keep parents informed of child progress.
All new clients must interview with the Program Head (Parent and Child) prior to receiving the enrollment pack/application for acceptance. There is a 2 week trial period to ensure all parties agree that The Learning Center is the best fit for everyone.
