Owl's Nest is inspired by a variety of early childhood philosophies, such as, Reggio Emilia (child-led, self-expression), Waldorf inspiration (rhythm throughout the day, handwork), and world, nature and culture influences. We believe in all-inclusiveness, having an appreciation for all the beauty and wonder out world has to offer. We use positive guidance, redirection and gentle reminders to help children keep on the right track and sort out any issues that may arise. We teach children Spanish and English as it will be spoken to them throughout the day for an "immersion effect" and they develop an ear for dual languages.
Meals and snacks are provided as well as assistance with potty-training
I am licensed by the state of Oregon as a registered family child care home.
