Orchard Hill Home Daycare

I became a mother twenty one months ago and I recently decided to leave the upscale boutique I have a manager/buyer at for the past ten years and start my own business as a licensed home daycare. I first realized I was ready for a change when I started using a home daycare in my area and I was dreading leaving him. Not because I did not want to leave him at the daycare, but because I did not want to leave myself. I had so much fun playing with all the kids. What better way to spend your day, why don't I do this myself? So that brings me to where I am at today. I have been approved for a CT state family daycare license and I am awaiting the last step, for the state to approve the safety codes in my house before I am licensed to open a home daycare. The appointment is scheduled for late September and I am hoping to receive my license in early October. I am located in southern Cheshire and will be open Monday-Friday from 7A.M. - 5 P.M. with full and part time hours. I am a very creative person, so we will be doing crafts daily, playing outside, baking, games and it is very important I have permission to travel with the children because we will be going to Cheshire library functions, Brooksvale park, local play grounds, orchards, school functions, just to name a few.
