Open Systems Healthcare provides our consumers with a wide selection of qualified caregivers who have been carefully screened through our testing process, personal interviews and background checks. Caregiver files are also regularly reviewed to ensure their credentials stay up-to-date and are compliant with all state regulations for your safety and well-being. With this arrangement our consumers can be free from the responsibilities involved in hiring a worker directly, or they can be as active in the selectionprocess as they desire. Independent Living Philosophy: Our goal is to provide caregivers that meet our consumer's needs in nurturing environment, while allowing them to maintain their independence. All consumers will be as involved in the process as they wish - making their at-home experience as comfortable as possible. We will provide a caregiver and help you coordinate all of your visits. We interview, screen, verify credentials, run background checks, update documents, maintain close communication with you and provide replacements or fill-in caregivers if required. With this arrangement you will be freed from administrative and other responsibilities involved in hiring a direct worker. Medicaid Open Systems Healthcare works with most state and local Medicaid waivers, i.e., Independence, COMMCARE, OBRA, Aging waivers, Attendant Care, Act 150, and many others.
