I am a CT certified teacher with 15 years of experience. I am certified to teach all subjects K-6 and reading and language arts K-12. I have fifteen years of experience as a classroom teacher and as a Title I teacher which means I have worked with students needing extra help in reading, writing, study skills and content area subjects like science and social studies. I am able to teach and reinforce all CT curricular areas and support preparation for both the CAPT and CMT. I will also educate myself for whatever assessment replaceses those tests.

I can assist your child with their college application both hard copies and the online Common Application. I will make myself available for the entire process including essay writing, collection of all documents and submitting of the completed document. I have helped my two children in this process and I very comfortable with all parts of the procedure.

Lastly as your child's tutor I will remain in close contact with all of their teachers so as to make sure I am working in the areas that best help your child. I will keep myself apprised of upcoming projects, tests and units to proactively seek out possible problem areas. With this information I will give you weekly updates so that you are assured that your child is headed in the right direction.
