Hi!
My name is Lorisa and I have worked professionally for twelve years before becoming a stay at home with my preschooler (age 5) and infant (age 10 months) I recently became a consultant with Discovery Toys, as I am a huge believer in educational, fun toys to encourage learning and development!
I had decided to stay home rather than returning to the workforce. My husband and I were raised in the area and purchased our home in a great part of town that provides access to 101 and 93 while enjoying the suburbans!
My children and I have lots of fun playing together and enjoying the company of other little friends! We enjoy playing outside using our gross motor skills with our fenced in yard and swing set as well as indoor with dramatic play like kitchen, cars and dolls. Learning letters, shapes and colors is fun too!
I'm not a homeschool teacher, but I do enjoy teaching my children and others and see them flourish as they play together as they discover their surroundings and learn to play independently as well as with others.
I keep a very clean, organized, pet free, smoke free home and I would love to be able to provide your littles the comfort of home and lessen your own worry when your babysitter or daycare is closed, call me "the reliable backup!"
I am looking to be considered a back up, day to day (or week to week) provider for you, as I would still like to be able to provide my kids some mommy time :)
