Hello, my name is Sonia, I own and operate a large in-home licensed childcare. Ohana Childcare IS quality childcare. I have worked for the school district as well asthree daycare centers. I am certified in Pediatric/Adult CPR, First Aid, and Health Prevention. I have taken all Early Child Development and Education classes. I have cleared all background checks. As a parent, I know how difficult it is to find reliable, quality, and a safe learning environment for my child. As a childcare provider, I believe all children have their own unique way of learning and it is my job to find out what that may be, children learn through dramatic play, imagination, exploration, and through socialization. Here at Ohana Childcare, I provide all of those qualities and much more. Children do lots of arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading stories, and lots of playtime. I have a classroom set up, an indoor playhouse, my entire first floor is dedicated to my daycare children. Children need space to explore and in other child cares just one dedicated room to 14 children is not enough space for them to thrive in.
