Octopus Garden Preschool is a Florida State Licensed Family Daycare Home. I provide child care in my home for up to 5 children, ages 6 weeks and up. Hours are 8:15 am - 4:30pm. I offer both full time, part time, and drop in care.
We operate on a flexible but consistent daily schedule. Due to the small amount of children I am able to change things around each day based on the needs of the children in my care. Every year I create a new curriculum that we use to guide us in our play and learning. We have daily circle time, art time, curriculum time, outside time, and story time. Our themes are used throughout our day in everything that we do. Every month we have a specific color and shape that we focus on. Each week we have a specific letter and number that we incorporate in our activities. The children learn through having fun and play, and each activity is modified for the varying ages.
We have our own classroom, but utilize other areas of the house as well. I strive to provide quality child care in every area. We have great toys, manipulatives, learning tools, outdoor toys, and tons of art supplies.
