Owned by Mr. Hank Durant, he started the kennel in 2000 with the goal of providing an unmatched boarding experience. Oakmere is not just a kennel, but a 5-star boarding retreat for your treasured family member(s). Set on a beautiful 10 acre property, the kennel offers pampering, care, love and cuddles for dogs and cats. Pets receive dedicated attention; multiple walks a day; and 24/7 on site supervision.
Bedroom options: Standard rooms are 6ft x 6ft, and we have two family rooms 6ft x 12ft. Outdoor runs (good weather) includes six 7ft x 40ft play runs, and numerous smaller outside play runs. *Dogs are walked in a 1 acre grass exercise field 5 times a day, either individually or as a family group.

We just picked up our happy boy after his first 5 day stay. It was traumatic for us, but NOT FOR HIM!!!!! He was the same joyous, energetic puppy we left. What a pleasant experience all around. Easy going, yet very professional staff.
