Nunzia's Childcare

I am a born and raised Italian. I love to bring my culture and language with me to the kids everyday. I have been working with kids for the last 30 years. I have worked with children of all ages. I am also a mom of two daughters. I have CPR/First aid, food handlers, and over 100 hours of training with Oregon early learning division. I always take more training to keep current. I love working with kids and helping them grow.


Infants (6 WEEKS TO 2 YEARS)


We are attentive to your babies needs making sure they are safe and happy. We have a sheet with times and notes so you can know about your babies day. Such as naps, when and what they ate, and whatever else they might have done on their adventure. We will sit by the infant for tummy time and when he or she is learning to play with the other kids. We nurture the child's steps into language with simple sounds and words that they will want to use such as "More water, please." We will send you pictures of your baby so you can feel close even when away.

Toddlers/ Preschoolers (2 YEARS - 4 YEARS):


We work with potty training if they still need it. We do arts and crafts regularly which ties in with our worksheets and circle time. All of them focus on teaching some basic learning blocks. Alphabet, counting to 20, writing and spelling their names, days of the week, following simple instructions and more. We also use flash cards with these basics. We offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and have nap time. For fun they can draw or play with puzzles at the tables, play with toys or read books in the classroom, or play outside when the weather is nice.


Afterschool age (5 Years - 12 years):

I offer before and after school care including all Non school days. This includes two snacks, breakfast, and lunch. I also provided drop-off and pickup to Errol Hassell and chehalem elementary.
