A caregiver is a healthcare professional licensed in the state of North Carolina, Certified Nursing Assistants are independent sub-contractors for the company and provide various services to benefit the client. Company offer direct care, companionship, sitters, personal care, lighthousekeeping, 24 hours coverage making it possible for people to remain in their home rather than using residential, long-term facility or institutional based nursing care. PERSONAL CARE NEEDS- caregiver shall observer client's physical and mental condition on a regular basis, and shall make arrangement as necessary to meet client's health need by assisting with arrangements transportation to physician of client choice. Caregiver shall provide assistance to client in carrying out the instructions of physicians, including storing, and distributing and reminding client to take prescribed medications. Independent CNA's are all about keeping seniors in the comfort of their home. We are currently working with residents in long-term care and clients in their homes with different health issues. Personal care consists of light housekeeping including laundering, bed linens, and assisting the patient with transferring. We also assist with bathing, bowel and bladder and ADL's. We help with meal preparation and medication reminders. Independent Certified Nursing Assistants do NOT change catheter, change dressings that are more complex than a simple bandage or require sterile techniques, assist with respiratory equipment or give injection. The focus of independent CNA'S, is focus more the daily tasks and activities service is overall well-being and happiness of the adult and seniors.
