When I decided I wanted to go back into childcare after being a stay at home mom, I found the lack of quality in home childcare options to be disappointing. There were only two that I could find within 15 miles of my home! So I decided to face the problem head on.
Childcare has gotten extremely expensive and continues to rise in price. There are very few affordable options for working parents. There's also a great divide between the two biggest options: nannies and traditional day care centers. Nannies provide great one on one interaction but what about a child's social health? And daycares provide great social interaction for children but tend to have high child ratio rates that don't support super nurturing care. In home child care helps bridge this gap and is also more affordable!
I have over six years in the childcare industry both as a private nanny and in social work and daycare settings. I want to provide quality care for your family and nurturing, developmental activities while still watching my own son grow and develop.
