About the business
Norfolk Collegiate is an independent, pre-kindergarten through grade 12 coeducational day school in Norfolk, Va. For 70 years, we have been developing critical thinkers, doers and explorers through innovative, engaging instruction in an inclusive and supportive learning community. We merge a traditional college preparatory program with an engaging environment to foster a continuing desire to learn, to understand and to responsibly serve society in each student.
We have two campuses, which are three miles apart. The middle (grades 6-8) and upper school (grades 9-12) is located on Granby Street, and the lower school (K-grade 5) is located on Tidewater Drive. We are accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS) and by AdvancED-SACS. We also are a member of the Military Child Education Coalition.
