I am a 46 year old child care provider who has many years of child care experience. I started my career as a teacher in the infant room for a daycare in 1992. I then did home daycare until i started my own family. After my children were born, I did home daycare until my children were in school. In 2005, I obtained my level 3 teaching assistant certificate and worked as teaching assistant for St. Lawrence Lewis BOCES in the beginning years program working with pre-school special needs children. In 2011, I took a leave of absence from my job to care for my mother-in-law who had a stroke. At the same time, i started watching children in my home for a few family friends. I have been doing that until this day and am in the process of moving to the Albany area. I will fulfill my babysitting obligations at the end of June here and moving to Latham at the beginning of July.
