I am a mom whose child has graduated from college and is now a very successfully, employed adult.

When my child was two years old, I founded and was the Director of a bilingual pre-school for children new born to 6 years of age. I have a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I studied Early Childhood development and Linguistics. I also studied French Literature abroad for one year at the Sorbonne in Paris, France.

I have been a substitute teacher in the state of Maryland, (off and on) for a number of years. Currently, I only want to provide child care for 2 children, new born to 4 years of age.

Having taught children for many years I know that children love to learn...especially when they're very young. I enjoy focusing on the early developmental stages of teaching children...the A,B,Cs, how to read, numbers, counting, colors, about animals & the sounds they make and children's songs. Early Education development and building a good/solid foundation is important when caring for children under the age of five... and when it's done in a fun and nurturing environment its a stepping stone that will launch a child into many successful years of education. A nurturing, educational environment is what I provide the children that I care for.

Diapers are provided. Food is provided for children who eat table food.
Hours are from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
