The main objective of my program is to provide a positive atmosphere which will promote the social, physical, intellectual and emotional growth of children ages 1 month to 5 years old. I believe every child is special and unique and each child needs to feel good about themselves! Positive guidance techniques are used to enhance a child's feeling of self-worth.

The daily program schedule includes breakfast, lunch, mid-morning and afternoon snacks, all meals are planned and posted weekly. I promote interaction which helps the children learn to cooperate, listen and share. I encourage self-selected activities which stimulate cognitive growth and creativity, as well as emotional and social development and outdoor activities which help develop large and small motor skills.

Daily activities include:
-circle time, -quiet time/nap,
-free play, -finger-plays,
-creative art, -music and games,
-language arts, -story time,
-math, -science,
-social studies.

Activities are also designed to:
-develop vocabulary,
-encourage recognition of differences in sound, size, shape and color,
-increase interest in books, numbers and people,
-improve coordination,
-introduce new ideas.

I am a professional with over 15 years experience. I am certified in First Aid/CPR.
