Hi! I am the oldest of 4 brothers and 2 sisters! I am married and have 2 boys, one is 12 and the other is getting ready to turn one. Our home is a Christian home and we enjoy doing activities at our church and we obviously are involved with a lot of sports with all these boys. :) I have over 10 years experience working with children from babies to young adults. I have worked in residential treatment and acute treatment with kids that need extra love and attention. I have also worked in the school system as a ft substitute teacher in EBD classrooms as well as with children with Autism, Asperger's and other challenges. For the last 3 years I kept a 1 year old, 4 year old and 6 year old. I assisted the 6 year old with PT and OT goals as well as social and personal care skills. I treat all children with love and respect as I do my own. I enjoy engaging with children and believe that unstructured play time is important as well as structured play time. Me and the kids in my care have a great time playing, watching movies, going on nature walks and wagon rides, reading and singing (they are the only ones who think I sing well and enjoy my performances, they are the perfect audience:)). If you have any questions please feel free to message me. I am accepting a day time slot and possibly an evening slot for someone who may need reliable care while doing shift work. I also am available for part-time hours and date nights.
