I've cared for children ages: newborn to 13.
In 2007 I helped manage an in-home daycare. Since 2008 to present, I work at a foundation. I've helped manage a unit for up to 16 clients. Here I've learned how to handle crisis situations (medical emergencies, psychiatric emergencies), what to do in an emergency (be it person/weather), multitask and time management. In May 2012, I completed the CNA program at Waubonsee Community College. In July 2012 I passed the IL state exam to become a CNA.
Since September 2012 to March 2013, I've provided in-home care for an elderly adult. My duties included: cooking, cleaning, wound-care/first aid, laundry, positioning, ADL and A.M.. care.
I have a heart for people. I enjoy helping others when I can.
I value compassion and creativity. I place importance on consistency, diligence and credibility in who I am as a person and as a provider of care, not limiting empathy and the ability to handle/complete tasks that are given to me with care and ease.
