Hi! My name is Jenessa. I run a childcare home. My hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm. My age range is 0-6 years.
I have lived in Alaska since 2006. Here I met my wonderful husband and we have a beautiful baby boy who was born January of 2014.
I have 6 years of experience working as a teacher in a Preschool and hold a current CDA (Childhood Developments Associate Credential) and am trained in First Aid/CPR (infant, child, and adult). I very much enjoyed my time teaching at the Preschool, and working with the families there. But after starting my own family I made the choice to open up a home daycare so that I could stay home with my sweet new baby.
At Nessa's Care, I strive to provide safe, quality, and loving care to the children that enter my home. I aim to encourage independence, positive self-image, and empathy for others in the children I care for. I also strive for an interactive learning environment where the topics we explore are based on the interests of the children. I believe that every child is a precious gift, and should be treated with love and respect.
