Agency Description: The mission of Neighbors Link Northern Westchester (NLNW) is to strengthen the whole community by actively enhancing the healthy integration of immigrants.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Program Supervisor to plan and implement a dynamic curriculum of developmentally appropriate activities for children whose parents attend our daytime onsite programs. The children s program aims to engage children and offer opportunities for academic enrichment and social skills development. Children will primarily be pre-school in age, but can range from pre-school to early adolescence during school vacations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an early childhood setting, as well as the ability to work independently in a busy environment with a flexible team spirit. This part-time position reports directly to the Family Center Manager.

Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Create session plans and organize supplies for each session
Submit supply requests
Prepare and tidy children s room before and after each session
Take attendance and direct any volunteers
Communicate with Family Center Manager about program needs

Requirements:
Experience in an early childhood setting
Proficiency in Spanish; must be able to communicate well with parents and children
Associate s or bachelor s degree preferred, but not required
Experience working with people from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain flexibility as program needs change
