Nature Sprites in home preschool now enrolling for 2013-2014 school year!

Nature Sprites Preschool is an in home, child centered program with low teacher to child ratios, a nurturing & safe environment, organic meals, storytelling, play, laughter, learning, and lots of LOVE!

We use a unique curriculum based on children's interests, seasonal themes and rhythms, practical life skills, and time spent learning in and through nature and our community. In following the rhythms of nature, the year, the day, we honor the rhythms of the child.

We offer affordable rates, flexible days, and a great central location that allows us to explore all of Boulder has to offer.

Children have an innate desire to learn about and experience the life around them.

Our Philosophy at Nature Sprites is to:

-create a space for child to feel safe, heard, and respected, where they can find confidence in themselves and learn tools to problem solve in their daily life, and where all needs are met to the best of our ability as educators.

Nature Sprites Preschool endeavors to engage the children by learning through nature and their natural curiosity, sometimes seeing and learning through the eyes of animals. The children will learn to walk more softly on the earth and be stewards of the natural world. Our diverse curriculum includes practical life skills, animal and plant study, hiking, arts and crafts, science exploration, early literacy skills, story telling, music, movement, and games. We enroll children ages 2 1/2-6.

A word about pets in the home:
We do have furry friends in the in home Pre-K. There is Jack the famous cat. He is a lovable old rag doll and is up to date on shots. We also have Molly a sweet and small dachshund beagle, who mostly likes to keep to herself. She sometimes accompanies us on walks but other than that she does not come.
