Welcome to Nanny Michelle's Childcare Home! This is the place that your child will grow and learn through play! My philosophy is that children learn through all 5 of their senses; see, taste, touch, feel and smell.
I am a licensed childcare professional but I am also a very creative, educational, fun-loving, nurturing, outdoor playing facility!
Here your child will share the experience of singing and dancing, daily story time, daily ABC's and 123's, daily outdoor play (weather pending), the opportunity to help prepare snacks/meals and of course making their one-of-a-kind creations in their very own craft room!
Your child's daily activities, naps, feedings/meals, etc. will be recorded on a daily basis so you have the opportunity to discuss with your child how they spent their day. (This is also done for infants). I believe communication is of the utmost importance between parent and provider.
I have an open door policy and invite you to visit your child at anytime throughout the day (except napping hours). This will be your child's home away from home and, therefore, you as their parent are always welcome!
I have 20+ years of childcare experience including being a stay-at-home mom with my 3 daughters for 18 years, caring for multiple children throughout that time as well and since then.
