Nanny with 10 plus years of experience looking to start a home daycare in your area! We recently moved to Gilford from Souther NH where I had been nanny for many families of happy healthy loving children and I am looking to continue my childcare career in our new house! We live in a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a finished basement that I hope to turn into a big play and learning space, as well as a big back yard with a swing set to be set up soon.
I am looking to start this home daycare for a very wonderful reason; my husband and I have felt the calling to become foster parents for a while now and we are just about finished our licensing for that, and once its done we will be taking in newborns and infants and so I would love to provide care for these precious babies in our home so that we wouldn t have to send them off to a daycare center while I nannied in someone else s home.
I will be starting very small, taking on 2 additional children to our 1 foster baby- so the ratio will be 1:3 and I will luckily be able to give plenty of one on one care to your children. Most of my experience lies in the newborn to toddler stages, with some preschool and older child experience. One of my favorite things about being a nanny is that I get the pleasure of watching children grow and learn so much, it always goes by too quickly but non the less I have loved every experience and I look forward to more!
I have chosen not to officially licenses my home with the state as I wish to keep the number of children in my home low to keep the one on one quality of care. In the state of NH you are allowed to care for up to 3 children in your home that are not your own. We currently have no children of our own but hope to have some in the years to come.
