Nana's Place-home Daycare

My name is Kimpell. I have always had a passion for working with children, I have five of my own and a grandchild. In 1996, I began working for a company called Extend-A-Care for Kids, in Austin, Texas. Extend-A-Care for kids is an after-school program and all my children were special needs. I worked for this company until I finished Southern Careers as a certificated medical assistant in 1998 and began working for several doctors offices in the area. I later moved to Arlington, Texas is 2003 and began volunteering in the day care for the church I attend (Cornerstone Baptist Church of Arlington) while working for ACS in Dallas, Texas. Due to the lack of staff and stress, I became ill, leaving ACS, and decided to go ahead and do what God has called me to do, provide care for your child.

With my experience, I will provide your child with an unsurpassed learning experience. Your child will discover that learning is fun, while making new friends and building strong friendships.

I am passionate about your child's happiness and eduction, and provide a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem and independence. I am dedicated to developing your child's learning potential and I am sensitive to your individual child's needs.

Twice a year I do attend early childhood teacher-training programs, so that I can remain current on recent development in education.

My teacher-to child ratio allow me to focus on the individual learning style and needs of each child in my home.

I am passionate about forming a strong, open partnership with you to ensure the best possible experience for your child. I will provide daily communication with you and seek to understand your unique needs, if any.
