Nana's Daycare

About Me: My name is Diana Moreno and I am the owner of Nana's Daycare. I am a licensed childcare provider and have had experience with childcare for over 15 years. My previous experience has come from one on one childcare as well as assisting in a large daycare setting. My at home daycare caters specifically to infants only under 2 years of age. Space is LIMITED!! Our child to caregiver ratio is 2:1.

I have a 5-month-old son named Aiden and he is the light of our lives. My husband and I have a happy stress-free home in which we care for our little boy. Here is where I welcome families to come and see what our daycare is all about.

As a mom I know the importance of finding the right type of environment for your child. I strive to make every child feel at home and apart of the family. Every child deserves warmth, affection, security, and above all the opportunity to thrive at their greatest potential.

Curriculum:

Infant only daycare is just that. Our daycare provides care for children under 2 years of age. We cater to this demographic so that children learn and grow amongst their peers. Our typical day is dictated by the child's schedule. Feedings, naptimes, and playtime will be coordinated based on the child's typical hourly activity. The curriculum for our daycare is specific to this growing group and it centers on a child's need to be stimulated in 6 key areas.

Health: Activities that promote healthy living and proper nutrition. (cleanliness, healthy food choices)

Body: Activities that help your baby grow strong and healthy. (tummy time, stretches, baby massage)

Mind: Games and Activities that help stimulate imagination, ideas and your baby's critical thinking process. (Reading, drawing, counting)

Safety: Activities that will promote good behavior and safety. (sharing, hands to self, awareness)

Relationship: Activities that encourage positive self image and social behaviors. (Mirror time, family reinforcement)

Language: Activities that help stimulate speech and communication through images, sounds and words. (conversations, singing, animal sounds)
