Nadeera's Family Daycare

As of October 2012 I have been licensed by the state of North Carolina to provide family daycare in my home. I am certified in CPR, First Aid and SIDS training. I have a lot of experience with children. I am a mother of 3, 2 girls who are 10 and 8 and one boy who is 6 years old. For 4 years I used to own and operate a NY State Family Daycare on Long Island until my family and I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2010. We are really enjoying living here in Charlotte and I am looking forward to growing a successful daycare business here.

My program follows a creative curriculum which includes teaching a foreign language (Arabic letters, numbers, colors and shapes). I will have your preschooler prepared for kindergarten and your school age child will have help completing homework assignments. When your school age child is not in school they will still partake in educational activities during the day. Infants will be given activities to encourage motor skills, language and more. I also help with potty training and understand that the parent and I must work together so each child can become successful at it. I also give each child the love and affection and patience that they need each day. In the past I have been very successful in accomplishing these things with the children in my care and I will continue to do so here in Charlotte.

My daycare is very clean and spacious inside and out. I offer 5 centers which include the art corner, reading corner, housekeeping, manipulatives and blocks. In the manipulatives corner I encourage daily completion of puzzles because they help with problem solving. Dramatic play in housekeeping is great for the imagination. I have a fenced in play area outside but beyond it is a huge back yard for running, racing and ball play. The food I serve follows the CACFP guidelines. Majority of the food I serve is all natural and/or organic. I serve milk (almond milk or dairy milk) at meals and water at snack time or when a child says they are thirsty. I rarely serve other drinks besides water and milk and on some occasions I may serve 100% juice.

I currently offer 1st and 3rd shifts Monday - Friday. The 1st shift is 6am - 5:30pm. The 3rd shift is 11pm - 6am. I have an annual registration fee and I must get paid prior to the week of care each week. Please give me a call, I would love to meet you and your child and take you on a tour of my daycare.
