My name is Melvin C. Perrow II, and I have been working in child care or education since I was 17 years old (I am currently 35). I recently finished a masters degree in Education, and am taking some time off before I begin working on my second Masters(in Social Entrepreneurship). In the next several years I will (hopefully) be launching a non-profit organization aimed at assisting students with understanding and mastering the skills needed to navigate academia. As excited as I am about my trajectory, it will eventually place me in an administrative position where I won't be working with youth directly. I would like to take the time that I am on hiatus from school to work with the people who inspired me to follow my current path. I have experience as county contracted home school teacher, after school program co-creator and counselor, in school suspension specialist, and English teacher.
