"Looking for a safe place to leave your children while you go to work and still have peace of mind?" My name is Maricela Murrieta and I understand the feeling having a 2 year old son myself. Finding a reliable and good caregiver can be hard and expensive. Therefore, I decided to stay home and care for my child and also take the opportunity to offer my services as an family childcare provider to families. I am a strong believer that taking care of children should be more than just keeping an eye on them. The first five years of a childs life should be a time to learn and use their imagination. Providing affordable quality care combined with education and nutritional meals will equal happy parents and children. My philosophy for all children is that imagination is mandatory, using kind words, taking turns, saying please and thank you, sharing everything, learning how to clean up, and last but not least having productive and educational fun. My facility is located in a quiet and friendly cul-de-sac neighborhood. I have created a program that will prepare children for school in the future by teaching them the basics: shapes, colors,numbers, and letters. I love children books and have a great collection such as "The Hungry Caterpillar," and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?". In addition, I include activities after a read-aloud and have discussions about different topics during circle time from the weather to hw many types of species of insects there are in the world. Along with this I am part of a nutritional program to make sure that all children receive the proper nutrition for every meal and snack provided.I encourage every parent to come and take a look at my facility.
