I studied Early Childhood Education & Child Development at Nash Community College where I completed an Associates program with several additional certifications. Currently my goal is to provide an intimate in-home setting with individualized care for my 21 month old daughter and up to two additional infants or toddlers. A multiaged in-home child care facility allows for close caregiver-child bonding which fosters growth and independance, as well as peer-to-peer scaffolding and socialization. In addition, I have experience with pre-mature infants and incorporating baby sign throughout the day.
