My name is Valerie Serna and I am a small home daycare provider. I have openings for infants, and toddlers. My qualifications include experience as a teacher, a bachelors degree in education from the California State University Fresno, along with numerous years working with children of all diversities including three of my own.
My goal is to nurture and care for your child while providing a happy and safe environment where we can play, learn, and grow together. I believe children learn and grow through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule.
My curriculum includes circle time (calendar, weather, songs), reading books, skills building (letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc), centers, and indoor/outdoor play. Other creative activities may include building blocks, dancing to music, putting puzzles together, playing make-believe, or doing art projects and much more!!!
