Mud Puddles & Dandelions is a nature based and Waldorf-inspired preschool. We do not adhere to one specific educational philosophy, but we do use the ideas of Waldorf Education, LifeWays Early Childhood Programs, and Peace Education to guide the development of our daily activities. First and foremost we consider our school to be nature-based and we strive to incorporate the natural world in to as many of our activities as possible. During the school day, our children spend a substantial amount of time outdoors learning and exploring. We believe in positive guidance and we encourage our children to learn through play, self-discovery, and imagination. We offer holistic education that not only focuses on a child s academic growth but also their personal, social, and emotional growth.
