Ms. V's Early Childhood

I have had the opportunity to work with kids in many different settings. I have experience caring for newborns through adolescent age children both in formal and informal settings. My experiences include: corporate childcare, preschool teacher, a family child care provider, Sunday school teacher at a Church, assisting in a behavioral classroom and teaching children in Kindergarten through grade 3. I am also an experienced mother of four with a Bachelor's degree in Education
My home is ready and equipped to provide well rounded learning experiences including: art experiences for kids, playing with trains, building with blocks, dramatic play experiences, reading with children, being outside, etc. The daily plan includes a balance of down time and keeping busy with activities. I am creative, caring and easygoing and I recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles, and personalities. I offer children opportunities to explore through play and life experiences. These experiences then help me work with individuals to give them what they need to develop and grow as learners.
Having been a working mom for several years, I know how difficult it is to have a career and a family. It certainly can be heart-wrenching at times. I was so blessed to have had my children welcomed into a warm, caring, learning family environment while I was at work. This is the type of environment I am hoping to provide to other families.
