Ms. Trish's Preschool & Daycare provides a loving atmosphere where children are nurtured, individual and cultural differences are valued. Our Curriculum and environment are based on a growing body of research, knowledge, and educational practice that strongly indicate that children learn and develop most effectively through active exploration, involvement and manipulation of their environment. Therefore, our curriculum is child-centered, play-based and includes: Art, Dramatic Play, Dance & Movement, Gardening, Math, Reading, Science, Songs & Rhymes, Manipulative Play, and lots of Outdoor Activities, in our very large yard, for their physical development. We encourage and provide opportunities for children to self-regulate emotions and behaviors, negotiate with peers so they can advance their critical-thinking emotions and problem -solve. We Participate in CCCC Food Program which assures children are fed nutritious, well balanced meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks. We believe that parents are the most important teacher in their child's life. With a BA in Behavioral Sciences, a State of California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit and years of experience in Early Childhood Education I will be able to partner with parents so your children are given the very best!
