Ms. Tara's Childcare

Greetings, Care.com community! If any families out there are on the hunt for child care, please contact me. I just finished my third and final year as a teacher at Colorado Christian Montessori where I've worked with children from ages one to four. I do not have my Montessori or Teacher credentials but, after being an assistant for two years the directors of the school asked me to fill the role as the lead teacher in the toddler classroom...which I gladly accepted! However, I decided months ago that at the close of this Spring semester I would like to have a smaller group size in an environment which I can control. I have lots of love to share with children and believe that beginning at an early age it is important to focus on the social/emotional piece of education. I also believe in the Montessori philosophy and on creating order, concentration, coordination and independence in young children. I am in the process of becoming state licensed and will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. with a charge of fifty dollars per day. I have been trained on CPR, universal precautions and medication administration. Additionally, I have previous volunteer work with children starting around nine months of age. Thank You!
