Hi there! I'm Tami- a former OSU athlete, a wife, a Mom of two boys (ages 9 and 7) and former preschool teacher at Vineyard Early Childhood Center. I absolutely loved teaching but when the opportunity arose for me to work from home with children, providing more individualized attention with a much smaller teacher:child ratio, I jumped at the opportunity!
I aim to provide a fun, high-energy and educational environment where kiddos are encouraged to be themselves, ask questions and explore the world as they see it. As a former teacher, I know just how much children learn through play experiences and have our playroom set up as the ultimate place to both learn and have a great time!
Under my care, children have limited screen time, and instead we read, do art projects, play outside as much as possible, and even work on important kindergarten readiness skills.
If this sounds like an ideal situation for your kiddo...great! I'd love to schedule a playdate to meet you! I'm looking for just one more child to join my small "Playschool", as I affectionately call it.
