With our focus on developing the cognitive, fine motor, and creative skills of our children, MPPA is an excellent choice for early childcare education. We employ teachers who are skilled in content and pedagogy. In addition, we have set clear goals and objectives for the children who have become a part of our daycare and preschool family. Our goals consist of a physical goal, cognitive goal, and creative goal. Our physical goal is to help children master fine motor and gross motor skills to enhance their physical development. We provide children a variety of activities, using different kinds of equipment, activities and opportunities. Some activities that are offered for fine motor skill development are stringing beads and stacking Legos. We also incorporate the use of manipulatives and age-appropriate jigsaw puzzles. For gross motor skills, some of our activities include hula hooping, hop-scotch jumping, painting projects, and ball play. We also offer opportunities for natural sensory exploration such as picking dandelions in the grass and walking on different ground surfaces to feel the differences between various materials.
