Ms. Misty's Nanny Care

Hello! Let me first give you a little background on myself. I am a mommy to three children and I currently teach Preschool Mommy and Me classes. I live in Henderson and the long drive to and from work can cause many challenges for me most importantly being this far away from my children during the day, especially if an emergency should ever occur. For now while my children are younger is why I decided not to put into play my Medical Degree and instead do something that I love which is teaching. I run Mommy and Me playgroups starting at age 6 months old to around 6 years old. For this work environment also allows me to bring my youngest child to work with me each day. I have taught Preschool classes, Preschool Gymnastics and ran Story Time and Princess classes for many years because this field allows my children to be beside me during the day and not in any daycare facility. I work side by side with parents teaching and guiding them through the basics of fine and gross motor skills, socialization and interaction with others, colors, shapes, letter recognition, numbers and most importantly pure enjoyment of other mommy's and (daddy's) being around other parents for helpful hints and our own socialization. I have very loving, caring and special relationships with not only my students but also their parents. I understand what parents need and want for their children because I too am just like them.
Now that summer is here and my own children are out of school they too need their mommy home. I have decided to take in at the max only three children into my OWN HOME in HENDERSON. I understand that parents have to get up each day and still go to work even though summer is out and our little ones are home. I am CPR Certified with adult, child and infant. Our daily activities will include similarities to what I teach each day now such as basic preschool learning, alphabet, number, shapes, colors, games and activities (indoor and out), story time, music, crafts to take home to families and most importantly a fun, SAFE, loving, nurturing, CLEAN, caring environment where your child(ren) will be cared for just as my own children are. I have references of course and once I talk with you and we feel we are a fit for each other's families, I will provide my current employers name and number for you to call and speak with in great detail about who I am and everything you need to know for peace of mind.
