Hello, My name is Leah. I run a licensed family day care in Milpitas specializing in the development of infant to preschool age children. As the owner and provider of Ms. Leah s Family Day Care, I hold a B.A. in Child Development with over 15 years of child care center experience. My philosophy is to promote socio-emotional, cognitive, motor, and language development through an eclectic approach to early childhood development based on the theories of Piaget, Erickson, Montesorri, Developmentally Appropriate Practice, brain development research, and Project-based approach to learning. Some activities to enrich children s experiences include cooking projects, open-ended art, music and movement activities, and using technology to enhance learning.
