Ms. Kelly's Afternoon Pre-school

HELLO! :) I am a mother of four wonderful grown children, two precious grandbabies and a morning preschool teacher five days a week for Sacramento County. I have been teaching pre-school age children for over 25 years and in my current morning classroom for eight years now. I am extending my passion for teaching pre-school age children to a very fun afternoon learning experience in my Fair Oaks home classroom. In my 25 plus years experience guiding and teaching children I have found a pure and simple philosophy: " Provide a fun organized space with many play options, a schedule that is age appropriate with some fun change within it, warm, kind guidance with enthusiasm and you have happy children that just soar in their development. " I am able to get to know and understand the personality and learning style of each child quickly. This is highly important in order to meet their needs properly.
I have created a light , spacious , organized learning environment in my home. This includes many very fun high-end toys, along with an ongoing assortment of learning tools I am constantly creating. We follow a fun schedule that each child comes to know and love. Choice time (open creative play), circle-time ( calendar, songs , movement and stories), Outside play ( gross motor development, sand , water, bubbles etc.), snack-time ( nutritious, manners taught and encouraged), puzzle time, art , puppetry. Fun~Fun~Fun!! My enrichment program runs daily from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm with extended care available upon request. Call for a tour. Age 3 - 6 years . I will consider a child that is 2 1/2 years, potty trained and ready for a pre-school program.
