Ms.keisha's Home Daycare

Hello my name is Lakeisha Hall, I am the owner of Ms.Keisha's Home Daycare in Dekalb, IL. I am currently in the process of moving to Dallas, Ga in the next few months. I have a family daycare license in Illinois through DCFS, as well as child/adult CPR, first aid and other trainings involving infant and children development. Our family daycare motto is your child's home away from home. I've had many many many years of experience starting at the young age of 10 when my oldest niece was born, I've worked in a preschool in Chicago,IL in 2000 before moving to Dekalb in 2001. I also worked in another home daycare before deciding to open my own home daycare in August 2003. Ms.Keisha's is ran by myself with the assistance of my husband Clarence and our two teenaged sons Nicholas and Nathaniel.I can't see myself in any other type of career, rearing children is my passion especially when it's a joint/family business. I've cared for children in my care as young as 2wks and as old as 12. I am trained and patient enough to identify and care for premature babies, children with ADHD, allergies and asthma. I chose to run my daycare like most parents would care for their own children, I feel this will help the children feel loved safe secure and apart of my extended family as well as help you the parents to feel at ease will you're away. We do participate in limited teachings such as basic colors numbers alphabets shapes, nothing to set or structured because I feel there is plenty of time for schooling down the road.
