In a nutshell: Teacher looking for a part time morning nanny job. I have nannied in the past with great references. I am looking for a something between the hours of 815-12:00(might be able to do earlier). I open my classroom up at 1pm so I'll need to be there at 1230 to set the classroom up.

The whole story: My name is Dawna, I am 35, I have been a preschool teacher for 6 years. I am originally from Eugene, my daughter(11 yr old) and I moved to Beaverton/Portland 7 years ago. We love sewing, crafting, old classic cars, softball and U of O football.

As a parent myself I know it is very difficult to work and wonder if your child/children are well cared for while you are at work. I would love and nurture every moment in the caring of your child/children. They are my priority and responsibility. I would give them a same safe, and loving environment. I like to keep kids busy so fun crafts and working on reaching benchmarks would a big part of our daily routine. Everyone gets along when they have goals and fun stuff to do. I guess this is the teacher in me that never turns off ; )

I have experience from infants/toddlers/children/ and older children. Taught in a Reggio, Montessori, Nature Based preschool.

I am very energetic, great sense of humor, and really love to run around, get down to their level, and enjoy with the children wherever their imagination takes them. I am a great cook, enjoy preparing healthy meals (breakfast/pack lunches?) and also understand, at times children can be fussy with their choice of meals. In regards to infants/toddlers, I am confident and very much experienced in their daily routine as their needs are different, than in the care of older children.
