Ms. Brandy's Learning Garden

Hi, my name is Brandy. I am a credentialed elementary school teacher, mother of two, and licensed day care/pre-school provider. I am CPR and first aid certified with a "live scan" criminal background clearance. My husband, who is an elementary school principal, and I have opened our home to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child. I currently have part-time and full-time spots available, starting September 1, 2013.

I proudly offer a dynamic and exciting daily schedule for your child, including:
* Activities and curricular focus with a "shape, color, number, and letter of the week"
* Walking trips to the park, located directly behind our home
* Arts and crafts activities and "story-time" read-alouds based on a weekly curricular focus and monthly themes, such as "Spring" and "Friendship"
* "Circle Time" where we learn about the calendar (days of the week and the months), shapes, colors, numbers, letters, the weather, and the Pledge of Allegiance
* "Music and Movement" time where students play instruments, sing songs, dance, and enjoy imaginative play based on children's music
* Healthy Snack Time
* Outdoor Play
* Science Exploration and Beginning Math with hands-on activities
* Character building lessons where we learn how to communicate our feelings and solve problems
* Potty training

My number one priority is that each child feels safe, loved, and comfortable, and I treat each and every child as if they were my own.
