Ms. Abby's Family Day Home

Submitted as a Voluntarily Registered Family Day Home in state of Virginia with background checks from state police and child protective services. I have worked in childcare for 6 years and have my bachelor's degree in early childhood education, specializing in birth through third grade. I offer daily or monthly rates and am open from 6:30am - 5:00pm right off of I-64 in the Bromley Area near the airport and botanical garden (Norview exit), with room for flexibility if provided notice in advance.

I accept 12 months and up and have 2 full-time slots available beginning April 4th. I have a large, fenced backyard with plenty of toys as well as fun sensory tables. There is a spacious room inside the house with areas for free play, music, books, and circle time. Additionally, we have a membership to the Botanical Garden for fun outings (with parent permission). We stick to a consistent schedule and all meals are served family-style at the table.

We have one small, non-shedding dog (13 pound, shihtzu/poodle mix). She is very friendly and social. I also have two children of my own who will be in the home (ages: 2, 4 months). There is an active security system that remains on at all times. Only those authorized by parent/legal guardian are allowed to pick up children and there are no guests or strangers allowed in the home during care hours.
