Looking for care that provides the feel of having a private nanny but without the high cost? Look no further!

I am a stay at home mom who is looking to provide care for your littles from my own home. I will cook meals, provide safe play and learning, as well as schedule outings and help with transportation needs. I have multiple play areas set up throughout my home, each designed to encourage different types of play and learning. I have a fenced in back yard with a swing set. I also live within walking distance of a park and a school playground. I am looking to care for up to 2 children per day. I have a one year old boy and one month old boy. They would be present during the childcare hours.

When it comes to curriculum, I place equal value on structure and child led learning. I am familiar with Montessori principles and loosely base my childcare on them. My favorite part of working with children is watching them process new ideas and explore the world around them. I spend time observing the children and then designing enrichment activities tailored to the interests they are expressing. This is why I keep my group size small and choose to only work with one or two families at a time. I recently obtained a minivan and will take the children on at least one outting a week. I love going to the library, the nature center, the children's museum and other places that encourage learning and play in a safe manor.
