Mrs. Rachel's Place

Hello!
My name is Rachel Heintzman and I have an in home daycare. I am looking to fill two part time positions. I have been working with kiddos since I was a kid if you count family babysitting, but 11 years total as far as actual employment with kids. I will take any ages from NB to middle school as long as I am not ever driving. You provide food as well. We have a routine each day that involves a curriculum, outdoor play, gardening, art, free play, snack and meals, and naps. I also potty train very well and do not charge extra. I have been fingerprint clearanced, TB tested, and am CPR/First Aid certified. I have a Bachelor s degree from NAU and have taken courses such as nutrition, social psychology, developmental Psych, Early Childhood Development, etc. I do find that these courses help me regularly.
I cook three healthy meals a day and serve two snacks. While I expect you to provide the food, I do not mind preparing it! My home is in a gated community and has cameras in the rooms and has been baby proofed. I also have an alarm system that announces doors and windows. Your children will receive daily reports that are age appropriate and I will keep a folder which details what they have mastered and what we will move on to next. They will also have cubbies, coat hooks, pantry bins, and fridge bins. I currently have two part time enrollments and my own daughter totaling 3. They are almost 3 and 1. I have drop in friends that come every now and then whose ages range from 1-8. I am located off of 75th Avenue and Greenway. Expectations and facts having been covered I would like to say that I am genuinely interested in my kiddo s health and happiness and put all of my effort in all of the time. The fruits of my labor are obvious and I can t wait to share that with a wider circle of people. If you need an example please consider my daughter; Walking at 9 months, potty trained through the night and day at 21 months, currently learning 4-5 year old curriculum. She will be 3 in early July.
I can t explain my love for watching kids other than that I really understand them and can speak to them in a way that they will listen and we both benefit. I give them a safe and happy place to learn and grow and they make me laugh and feel great each time we accomplish a goal together.
