I am a mother of twin boys who are 4 years old, one of whom has special needs. Both of my sons do attend school and will not be at home during the day while I am caring for your child(ren).
My family and I are expecting our third child this May and I will be retiring from being a teacher (10+ years) in June to stay home with our new baby as well as open our home as an in-home daycare provider. I will be able to provide care for up to 2 more children in addition to our new baby. My fees and rates are competitive with local day care centers and other in-home daycare providers. Your child will be in good hands and you can have a piece of mind knowing that they are comfortable, happy, and safe in their home away from home. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your child and discuss your needs/wants as well as setting up a visit to our home.
We do have pets in our home. We have a cat (Billie Jean) who keeps to herself and can be put upstairs if your child is allergic. We also have two dogs. A golden retriever (Bella) and a yorkie/maltese mix (Bailey). Both dogs are friendly and have years of experience being around children. Unfortunately, we cannot put the dogs upstairs. So if your child is allergic to dogs or has a fear of dogs, our in-home daycare may not be the best choice for you and your child.
