At Mrs. Myers' Reading Room, we help children discover the JOY of reading through engaging, play-based classes that teach them essential literacy skills. We offer small group reading classes for kids aged 3-12, as well as one-on-one tutoring for children of all ages in all subjects.

For pre-readers, our Kindergarten Readiness class blends technology and hands-on learning to teach letter sounds, sight words, and prepare your child for a lifetime of learning with our Kindergarten Readiness checklist. Developing readers will grow their vocabulary, learn decoding skills, and build reading fluency in an energetic learning environment with our Novel program. Your child will actively participate in educational games that will improve their essential reading skills and turn them into an enthusiastic reader. Advanced readers will participate in our Book Club and dive into books. Your child will interact with literacy concepts in a small group environment, learning from and with their peers. They will participate in discussions and activities that build critical thinking, comprehension, and problem solving skills.
